Raku is an ancient Japanese firing technique where pieces are pulled from the kiln at 2000 degrees and plunged into a smoke chamber which transforms their glazes in dramatic ways. A unique palette of colors and a range of smoke and crackle patterns characterize this exotic firing process. Each piece produced Tony Evans, Evans Design Group, is a unique, one-of-a-kind sculpture, signed and numbered.
